With today’s growing concern for the world and the carbon footprint that will be left behind, Membertou Corporate Division and GrupoGuascor from the Basque Country of Spain have ventured into a business partnership. This partnership, Anaia Global Renewable Energies, will market renewable energy solutions to Nova Scotia as well as throughout North America.

GrupoGuascor
GrupoGuascor is a global leader in renewable energy technologies, such as, solar, wind and bio-energy equipment and applications. Membertou was particularly interested in the work that GrupoGuascor had done for the remote, rural and indigenous communities of Amazonia (the Amazon rainforest). Presently, Guascor has 63 plants in the Amazon producing 200 MW of electricity and employing 500 people. They are referred to as pioneers in their industry.
